Temonat is used together with radiation therapy to treat certain types of brain tumors in adults. Temonat is usually given after other cancer medicines have been tried without success. Temozolomide is an antitumor drug and belongs to a class of medications called alkylating agents. It is also sold under the brand name Temodar.
